STATISTICS:
The Dialysis Department offers an average of 9,800 hemodialysis treatments annually to 73 patients and 4,750 treatments to 18 patients under peritoneal dialysis.
CHARACTERISTICS:
The Department is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Emergency dialysis is available 24 hours a day, all year long. Four dialysis programs are offered, namely: hemodialysis / total care, self-care hemodialysis, hospital peritoneal dialysis and finally, home peritoneal dialysis. A multidisciplinary team is responsible for the planning, execution and control of the treatments. The professionals involved are:

Nurse
Doctor
Pharmacist
Social worker
The team also sustains a strong quality control program.
