St. Mary's Oncology Department provides comprehensive continuous care to cancer patients, with emphasis on cancers of the lung, GI tract, breast and lymphoma. It comprises Therapeutic Units (outpatient/ inpatient), Palliative Care Service and Home Care Service. Individual care plans are determined at weekly Tumour Conferences. Referrals to oncology can be discussed at that time, directed to the Inpatient Oncology Consult Service, or sent to the Outpatient Oncology Day Clinic.
