CLINICAL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT UNIT QUALITY ASSESSMENT UNIT SUPPORT SERVICES
QM UNIT
  • Communicate QM requirements and resources to programs

  • Assist with development of priorities, care maps, practice guidelines and indicators

  • Assist with implementation of recommendations

  • Organize educational support and related activities

  • Preparation for CCHSA

  • Consult on data availability, protocol design

  • Assist with data collection, extraction, analysis, presentation

  • Monitor, report and follow-up on incident reports and on selected indicators

  • Coordinate the operationalization of QI activities for support services

  • Provide guidelines for use of information resources

 

QUALITY FORUM
Shares and disseminates information on quality across QI teams, councils and individual health care workers
Ensures all members of the institution have an opportunity to be aware of quality initiatives in the hospital
Develop multi-team and multidisciplinary collaborative results to improve patient outcome
