St. Mary's most recent accreditation from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation is for the period 2000 - 2003.

FAMILY MEDICINE
In April 2000, the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the College of Physicians of Quebec visited McGill University and its four residency training sites in order to accredit the teaching programmes. The Family Medicine Centre of St. Mary's Hospital received very high praise and was fully accredited, as was the McGill program. LABORATORY
St. Mary's Laboratory is the only laboratory in Quebec accredited by the College of American Pathologists, ensuring standards of excellence, competency of staff and close monitoring of equipment. Our most recent accreditation was received in October, 2000.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy University Programs (ACOTUP) recently reviewed our Occupational Therapist department in physical medicine and awarded a 5-year (max.) certification according to the CAOT / ACOTUP Fieldwork Education Site Approval Guidelines. Fieldwork Education Site Approval (FESAP) was granted from March 15, 2001 to March 15, 2006.
