The Recreational Therapy Department offers hospitalized geriatric patients purposeful therapeutic recreational/leisure activities. These meaningful activities are essential and important components of enhancing patients’ health, functional abilities, independence and quality of life. It is also an active teaching department with a certified Recreation specialist for under graduate students in therapeutic recreation and leisure programs.
