This department at St. Mary's is accredited by the Canadian Medical Association and is affiliated with Vanier College.
At St-Mary's, our work is divided in 3 areas of expertise:
RESPIRATORY THERAPY:
- basic therapeutics ( aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, bronchoscopy).,
- advanced therapeutics (intensive care, emergency department, cardiac arrest team) .
ANAESTHESIA TECHNOLOGY:
- We work closely with the anaesthetists during the surgical procedure to ensure the monitoring of the patient. We are also responsible for the equipment.
PULMONARY FUNCTION:
- The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology equipment to provide our patient with quality diagnostic testing.
