The Division of Plastic Surgery provides 24-hour emergency coverage with in-hospital clinic follow-up twice a week. Elective surgery takes place twice a week in the hospital; cosmetic surgery is done in private outpatient facilities on a daily basis. Less significant procedures are done in the minor OR 2 days a week. The Plastic Surgery Division performs reconstructive surgery (with the exception of major burns) in addition to surgery of the hand and interventions for skin cancer.
