Seminars

The Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Community Studies organizes a seminar series, with seminars held at the Hospital every two weeks. The aim of the series is to encourage research and creating a greater awareness of the research activities conducted by the various investigators in and outside of St. Mary's Hospital Center.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Annual Symposia on Research and Quality of Care

Since 2000, Annual Symposia on Research and Quality of Care have been held each fall at St. Mary’s. Symposia have included:

  • Invited speakers, panels, and debates on topics such as the role of the pharmaceutical industry in research, and how to use research to improve the quality of care;
  • 20 - 30 poster presentations.

This year's Annual Symposium on Research and Quality of Care will be held on Wednesday November 18th, 2009, at the Ruby Foo’s Hotel (7655 Decarie Blvd, Montreal, QC). Please click on the Symposium announcement for more information.
